US economic information still delayed after govt shutdown

the U.S. commerce department's Bureau of economic analysis (BEA) spoke of Monday it is working on a revised time table for the free up of financial facts studies that have been delayed via the 5-week govt shutdown.

The BEA observed it's consulting with the U.S. Census Bureau and different records suppliers to "verify the provision of records used to provide our financial warning signs."

The partial shutdown began on December 22 and ended Friday after President Donald Trump and lawmakers agreed to a deal that would reopen the federal executive for three weeks. organizations such as the BEA returned to work on Monday.

The shutdown delayed several closely watched studies compiled by using the commerce department, including housing starts, new home earnings, manufacturing facility orders and retail income.
